Ballycotton is an outstanding individual combining presence, temperament, movement and athletic ability, which we are now seeing in his progeny. He combines the extravagant movement of the warmblood with the cool, calm nature of the Irish.
Ballycotton has completed his second dressage season with major placings at the Horse of the Year show.
His sire, Kingcroft Wicklow, competed to grand prix level in show-jumping with Tim Price, and his progeny are performing in all disciplines throughout New Zealand. Several have been exported and are competing with success in the USA. Ballycotton's dam, Wynaidle, is by Wohler II. She was well performed at dressage and passed on her outstanding movement and conformation to her progeny.
