Corrado I was approved in 1988 on the base of his pedigree and his enormous scope. At the stallion test he scored a 10 for jumping. As a 7 year old he had his first international sucess and from there continued to win Aachen, World Cups and many Grand Prix competitions.

He gives his offspring enormous scope and is a producer of international Grand Prix jumpers second to none. To name a few offspring are Classic H, Cher, Corrada, Cosima, Cosmos Star, Caramia, Canyon, Think Twice and Cabrio.

The most sucessful Corrado I offspring in 2004 and 2005 was the stallion Clinton. He placed individual 4th at Athens Olympics and he was last year second in the Grand Prix at Aachen.

There are now 20 sons approved from Corrado I. The motherline from Corrado, 6879, brought several very sucessful horses, Landlord (Olympics 1988 with Ludger Beerbaum), Lausbub (Derby Champion with Achaz von Buchwaldt), Fair Lady (Ralf Runge), Baden (Hermann Evers Olympics 1952), and Baden-Baden as well as Original Holsatia (both Fritz Thiedemann). Beside Corrado I also his full brother Corrado II got approved and our of a full sister from Corrado I and II the stallion Chellano Z by Contender got approved in Zangerzeide.
